Birds in a finished TruNature coop, feed and drinker lines running the length of the house
Pearson & Co. Builders × TruNature Farm

Grow more birds
in the space you have.

We build livestock housing that raises more birds per square foot — mezzanine floors, engineered airflow and automated feed and water. We don't just design it; we run it every day on our own farm.

What we build

One contractor, the whole farm.

Take the pieces you need or hand us the entire site. Either way you deal with one team that understands what happens inside the building after it's finished.

Construction

Purpose-built livestock housing from foundation to roof. Our asymmetric-gable structure with an integrated mezzanine doubles your growing floor on the same footprint — more birds per square foot through engineered airflow, not overcrowding.

Water & feeding systems

Manual or fully automated. Auger feed lines, inline water filtration and sensor-driven motor control — the same setup running our coops daily. We size it to your flock and train your staff on it.

Manual Automated

Cold storage rooms

Insulated cold rooms with evaporator and condensing unit, built and commissioned for real cold-chain integrity. We installed our own — so we know how it behaves in a Jamaican summer, not just on paper.

Slaughterhouse

A sequential, single-direction processing line laid out to prevent cross-contamination — clean in, finished product out. Built around the workflow, drainage and wash-down realities of actual processing days.

Store room

Dry, secure, vermin-resistant storage for feed, bedding, medication and equipment — sized to your batch cycle so you can buy inputs in bulk and protect the margin you just saved.

Office / living space

On-site office, staff facilities or caretaker living quarters. Because a farm that runs around the clock needs somewhere for records to live and for people to actually be.

Built by an engineer, not a guess

Density done right, not done cheap.

Anyone can put up a shed and fill it. Raising more birds in the same space without losing them to heat, damp or disease is a different job — it takes airflow design, a second level that actually works, and feed and water every bird can reach. That's the job we do.

01
Ventilation & microclimate first
Density comes from airflow design, not from packing birds tighter.
02
Sensor-driven controls
Industrial capacitive sensors wired through contactors and digital inputs — not hobby parts.
03
Single-direction process flow
Layout that makes contamination hard, instead of relying on staff discipline alone.
04
Serviceable by you
We hand over the system knowing your team has to run it on a Sunday without us.

Beyond the coop

Build toward a self-sustaining homestead.

Plenty of our clients don't just want a coop — they want land that feeds itself. Housing, water capture, cold storage and living space designed as one system, so the farm supports the household and the household supports the farm.

Rainwater catchment and storage sized to your dry season
Solar-ready wiring and panel mounting on new structures
Cold storage and store room sized for a household, not just a business
Caretaker or family living space built into the same site plan

Turn the building around.

Indicative model — every build is dimensioned to your land and flock at the site visit.

Who we build for

Poultry, cattle & goat housing — and more.

Poultry

Broiler and layer housing, brooding areas, processing and cold chain. Our deepest specialty — it's what we run.

Cattle

Shelters, feed bunks, water troughs, handling crushes and wash-down drainage built for the weight and wear cattle put on a structure.

Goat

Raised-floor housing, feed and water lines, kidding pens and secure fencing suited to Jamaican terrain.

Raising something else? We build for most livestock — tell us what you have in mind.

How we work

Site visit first. Always.

No two pieces of land behave the same way. We price after we've stood on yours.

STEP 01
Site visit & scope

We walk the land, talk through your target flock size and budget, and tell you honestly what it will take.

STEP 02
Design & quote

A layout and itemised quote per module, so you can stage the build across seasons if cash flow needs it.

STEP 03
Build & install

Structure, systems and commissioning by one team — no chasing three different contractors for one building.

STEP 04
Handover & training

We show your team how to run and service every system, and stay reachable after the last invoice.

Straight answers

Can I build in stages?

Yes — most farmers do. We quote per module so you can put up housing now and add the cold room or slaughterhouse when the cash flow supports it. We design the first stage so the later ones bolt on cleanly.

Can you upgrade a coop I already have?

Often, yes. Retrofitting automated feed and water lines, improving ventilation, or adding a cold room to an existing structure is common work for us. The site visit tells us what's worth keeping.

Where do you work?

We're based at Old Works District, Point Hill, and travel across Jamaica for builds. Distance affects scheduling and mobilisation, so mention your parish when you reach out.

Why won't you quote online?

Because ground conditions, access, water supply and power all move the number — and a quote that ignores them isn't a quote, it's a guess you pay for later. We price after the site visit.

Let's walk your land.

Tell us what you're trying to raise and how many. We'll tell you what it takes to build it properly — and you can come inspect ours first.
